ASEAN countries team up to peradicate child sex tourism

Countries from Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have agreed to free all tourism sites across the region from any possible child sex tourism activities, Antara state news wire has reported.

During a three-day conference titled Southeast Asia Conference on Child Sex Tourism, all participants have stated their commitments to coordinate against the transnational crimes.
Ahmad Sofian, coordinator for the National Coalition to Eradicate Children Commercial Sexual Exploitation, said that all countries would fight against all perpetrators who made use of all facilities hotels and restaurants to do sexual exploitation with the children.

From the conference, we have expected to map out general problems on such crime in the region and solutions to end it, Ahmad said.

The event featured 25 speakers and was held in Sanur Beach of Kuta, Bali.
