Surving your Holiday

By. Musa Aykac

The holiday seasons used to be a relaxing time that you could spend with the whole family. Now holidays are becoming more and more stressful from buying holiday clothes to running around after the kids. Well I have put together a great list of tips that can help you on your way to a stress free holiday. In recent years with acts of terrorism and kidnappings going on holidays have been very tense. A few things you can do to cut down the stress is as follows.

1. You should book all your holiday dates and plan well ahead to make sure everything runs smoothly. In your schedule you should also take a few hours out a day for yourself to relax and unwind.

2. When on holiday a lot of people tend to forget about eating and just concentrate on alcohol consumption. You should eat healthily while you are on holiday and cut down on the alcohol, the reason for this is because alcohol can end up ruining your holiday by increasing your stress levels dramatically.

3. As in the first tip organise your holiday set aside how much money you are going to spend on a daily basis and dont overspend because then you will be worrying about your financial situation which is a definite no-no while you are having a break.

4. Whenever you meet someone on holiday remember to be nice and courteous to them, if you have come across someone that is being very un-polite than just ignore them as there stress levels have already ruined there holiday why let it ruin yours.

5. When you are away it should be all about family and friends time, forget about all the stresses and strains that you have experienced and just have a laugh. Laughter will be the number one stress reliever, so do get plenty of that.

Why ruin your holiday with all the doom and gloom, you have been waiting along time to get a break away from everyday life so try to enjoy it the best you can. Yes there are some people you may meet that just go out there way to ruin peoples holidays but if you just ignore them they will soon go away. As for all the things that you hear on the news, just take it with a pinch of salt otherwise the way things are going holidays may never be the same again. It is up to you, your friends and your family to enjoy your break.
