Kuta Tourism

Tourism is one of the mainstays of Indonesian economy. It helps this country to earn a considerable amount of foreign exchange. Kuta was one of the first towns of the Indonesian island of Bali to become a tourist hot-spot. It is situated in the southern part of Bali. Kuta Tourism is now a part of almost every tourist’s tour diary. The popularity of Kuta Tourism has increased manifold due to its beautiful beaches, which are complimented by its tropical weather. Now, Kuta is one of the most sought after beach resort destinations in Indonesia. Kuta Tourism has received a better boost due to the connectivity between Kuta and the nearby towns.
In the north Legian is considered as the commercial hub of Kuta. Towns like J1 Legian, J1 Basangkasa, Tuban Legian and Seminyak have become integral parts of Kuta Tourism. They are not only popular among tourists but some emigrated designers have also picked these places as their choice of residence.
Kuta Tourism owes a lot to the town’s proximity to the Ngurah Rai Airport of Bali. Anyone trying to reach Kuta from the west can avail busses or bemos, a sort of share cab from Bertais Terminal, Sweta.
To popularize Kuta Tourism even more and to develop the island the Balinese Provincial Government are trying to preserve the Balinese culture as well as its natural resources and wild life. They have restricted commercial development in the northern part of the peninsula. Thus they are trying to strike a balance between Kuta Tourism and the island’s culture.
Despite facing damages and fatalities in the 2002 and 2005 Bali bombings this tourist resort has not lost its attraction and is once again regained its share of tourists.
To make Kuta Tourism comfortable there are several hotels coming at different rates to suit the pockets of the individual tourist.
No tourism is complete without sightseeing. Kuta Tourism also gives one to visit some entertaining sites. In these places one can chill out alone or with companions. Some of these attractions are Waterbom, which is a water park, Paddy’s, a popular nightclub, Legian Beach, popular place to sunbathe and enjoy water sport and Studibakers, a dance club.
